Job Summary:
Our client is looking for its next Angular front-end expert (Durham • Raleigh • Charlotte, remote). The ideal candidate will have experience with the ivy compiler generation of Angular, NGRX state management, responsive design, lazy-loaded modules, and browser extensions. Obvious complimentary talents include Typescript and yarn. Testing is a must!
In this position you are supposed to build the underlying mechanics of the front-end framework to support their style and layout expert. They are really looking for someone who can work magic with the front-end, including animated interfaces, reusable components, and state-driven observables.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain our mobile-first responsive site
- Build and maintain our multi-browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Ensure interoperability between all front-end properties, including sites, extensions, and external SaaSes
- Track and optimize load times as reported by external tools
- Work with marketing team to ensure our analytics and tracking are properly integrated for optimizing the funnel
- Work with Care team to troubleshoot and triage front-end issues
- Work with backend team to plan api contracts and data models
- Monitor automated bug reports and keep that queue clear
- Configure and manage external content
- Build and maintain the internal tools
Secondary Roles and Responsibilities:

What You Bring:
- 5+ years of web-app development experience
- Solution-oriented leader with the ability to solve problems creatively and gauge when to invest in long-term technology changes to solve a problem, and when to use existing technology
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and work independently to set and prioritize goals and pathways to accomplishing them
- Experience accelerating the growth of a fast-developing consumer technology product
- Creative and proactive problem-solver, favoring pragmatism over idealism while maintaining an upbeat attitude
- A strong user- and product-focused mindset, able to negotiate effectively between speed and quality in meeting deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in collaboration with peers and maintain strong, consistent lines of communication\
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
